Use this dialog to specify details for any tool in the Tools database file. The name of the current Tools database file is displayed in the dialog's title bar.
Select ToolMinder > Tools to display the Tool Data dialog.
When using PartMaker/WireEDM, the following settings are available on the Tool Data dialog.
Wire ID — Enter the ID number of the currently selected wire.
Diameter (d) — Enter the diameter of the currently selected wire.
Time Factor — Enter the time adjustment factor to be used for cutting time calculations.
List of Tools — Displays a list of the wires currently stored in the Tools database.
Rename to — Displays the current name of the wire. Enter a new name if you want to rename the wire.
New — Click to add an untitled wire to the List of Tools. By default, the new wire uses the same parameters as the previously selected wire, but you can changes these parameters if you wish.
Delete — Click to remove the selected wire from the List of Tools. When you click Close or Apply, PartMaker deletes the wire from the Tools database.
Close — Click to close the dialog and save any changes you have made.
Apply — Click to apply your changes to the selected wire.
