Use the Set Modes dialog to select the Synchronization Mode for a process in the Process Table.
The Synchronization Mode you select comprises a Main Spindle Mode and a Sub-Spindle Mode. For example, PartMaker assigns the M1S2 Synchronization Mode to a process when you select the following options on the Set Modes dialog:
- Machining with One Tool (M1) as the Main Spindle Mode; and
- Machining with Two Tools (S2) as the Sub-Spindle Mode.
PartMaker organizes consecutive processes with the same Synchronization Mode into Synchronization Groups in the Process Table.
To display the Set Modes dialog, click the Set Modes button for a process in the Process Table. For example:
Note: The Set Modes button is available only in PartMaker/SwissCAM and PartMaker/Turn-Mill.
The options available on the Set Modes dialog depend on the PartMaker product you are using.
