Use the Select Tool Parameter dialog to specify which tool parameters from the Master Tools Database file are displayed in the Manage Tools Files dialog. If required, you can also apply a range to a numeric parameter from the Master Tools Database file.
To display the Select Tool Parameter dialog, click a Parameter Header button in the Manage Tools Files dialog.
The following settings are available:
Parameter list box — This lists all of the tool parameters used in the Master Tools Database File. Select the parameter you want to be displayed on the Manage Tools Files dialog.
Numeric Parameter Value Range — This option is available if the selected parameter is a numeric value. You can use the options in this area of the dialog to specify that only those tools falling within the range entered are displayed in the Master Tools list box on the Manage Tools Files dialog. For example, for the Tool Diameter parameter you could specify that you want to display only those tools that have a tool diameter between 0.5 and 1.0.
Specify Range — Select this option if you want to specify a range for the selected parameter. You can then specify the Minimum and Maximum values to define the range.
