Use the Rotate dialog to rotate selected elements in the active Face window. When working in:
- CAD mode, you can rotate selected geometry.
- CAM mode, you can rotate selected holes and/or profiles.
To display the Rotate dialog, select the elements that you want to rotate in the active Face window, then select Edit > Transform > Rotate.

The following settings are available:
Multiple Copies — Select this option to copy the selected elements.
No. of Copies — If Multiple Copies is selected, enter the number of copies to create. This must be a value between 1 and 99.
Angle (A) — Enter the angle by which PartMaker rotates the selected elements.
Center (P) — Specify the center of rotation for PartMaker to use when rotating the selected elements. There are two ways to specify the center:
- Entering coordinate values. If you know the coordinate values of the point, enter these values in the Z and X, or X and Y, fields. The Coordinates values vary depending on the type of Face window you are using – X and Y coordinates are displayed for a Milling Face window and Z and X coordinates are displayed for a Turn Face window.
- Clicking
and selecting the point interactively. PartMaker displays a cross-hair cursor for you to select a center point in the Face window. The Snap Modes toolbar also appears for you to select a snap mode.
Rotate — Click to rotate the selected elements using the settings specified in the dialog.
