To display the Set Parametric Boundaries dialog, select Edit > Family of Parts Programming > Set Parametric Boundaries. This option is available only if the Parametric Input option is selected in the Preferences dialog-Milling.
The dialog lets you define formulas PartMaker can use to calculate part boundaries, based on parameter files (*.prm files).
x1: Defines the formula for left boundary of a part. The “Current” value is displayed as entered in the Setup dialog.
y1: Defines the formula for bottom boundary of a part. The “Current” value is displayed as entered in the Setup dialog.
x2: Defines the formula for right boundary of a part. The “Current” value is displayed as entered in the Setup dialog.
y2: Defines the formula for top boundary of a part. The “Current” value is displayed as entered in the Setup dialog.
Height(H): Defines the formula for height of a part. The “Current” value is displayed as entered in the Setup dialog.
