Vertical Rotary Table Properties dialog (PartMaker)

Use the Vertical Rotary Table Properties dialog to view, or modify, details of a vertical rotary table on a milling machine and specify how it is displayed during Full Machine Simulation.

To display this dialog, click the Properties button in the Table area of the Machine Data dialog.

The following settings are available:

Definition — Specify how you want to define the table and how the components are displayed during Full Machine Simulation:

  • Parametric — Select this option to create a parametric representation of the table from the values in the Dimensions area of the dialog.
  • Solid Model — Select this option to use a solid model to represent the table. Click the Model Data button to select the model you want to use from the Model Data dialog.
  • Components — Click to display the Components dialog, where you can specify which components of the table are displayed during Full Machine Simulation.

Dimensions — Complete these fields if you are creating a parametric representation of the table.

  • Diameter (D) — Enter the diameter of the table.
  • Thickness (t) — Enter the thickness of the table.

Rotary Axis

  • Axis — Select the table's rotary axis.

Travel Limits — Enter the coordinates (Min X, Min Y, Min Z, Max X, Max Y, Max Z) that define the travel limits of the table.

Note: If the table cannot move in one or more axes, the corresponding Travel Limits fields are unavailable.
